Getting to know Marthy….

1.      Who is your outdoor hero?

Marine Mumbles, a marine Biologist

2.      Is there anyone famous you would like to do a science or nature activity with?

I would like to go tree climbing with Steve Backshall and see Chimpanzees.

3.      Best thing you have ever eaten that’s been cooked on a campfire?

A lovely lasagne, it was yummy.

4.      The best view you have ever seen in your life.  Who were you with?

Sunrise, when it was super early and it was the first time I saw the sunrise for 30 Days Wild with Mamma.  I really liked the view on Snowdon too with Mamma and Dadda.

5.      Why do you think that all children should have time in nature at school?

Because it’s creative, you get to see oak trees, get to have fun.  I would just like to be lost in nature!!

6.      If you were in charge of the school day describe what it would be like.

There would be deers, looking at different fish and going into the wood.  We would have animals to look after like rabbits, turtles and chickens.

7.      What superpower do you have?  Which superpower would you like?

I have kindness and love as my superpower and I would like to have ice, fire, water, earth and wind as my power.  I would like to lift things up in a bubble and eat them!

8.      If you had to choose one of these to describe you which one suits you most Earth, Fire, Wind or Water?

Mostly fire but a bit of all of them because I love all parts of nature.  I would love to add a 5th element which is ice.  I would love to go to Antarctica.

9.      Favourite native animal.

My favourite animal is a hermit crab.

10.   What storybook do you know off by heart?

I know Alba the 100 year old fish story, it is great, I made a puppet show of it too.
